Heartland Community Wind is pleased to support six Perth College students from Highland Perthshire with a scholarship for travel, materials and other costs. The students are: Stuart Duff, Dailute Kolesinskiene, Cristina Rodrigues, Abbie Adamson, Iren Hanayecz, and Jemima Stewart, pictured with Heartland Community Wind director Elizabeth Leighton. Their studies include Business, Accounting, Health, Professional Cookery and Engineering.
Elizabeth Leighton, Heartland Community Wind director said, “We are delighted to provide this scholarship fund for the benefit of young and mature students in the Aberfeldy and Kenmore area. This is the second year we have provided the scholarships and it is a real pleasure to help these talented and dedicated students with the costs of their travel and course materials. This scholarship fund is awarded on an annual basis.”
Dr Margaret Cook, principal and chief executive of Perth College UHI said, “Winning a scholarship is a great personal achievement for our students and gives them a confidence boost.”
