Are you – or someone you know – from the Aberfeldy and Kenmore area and planning to go to Perth College UHI in September?
Heartland Community Wind is offering a number of scholarships for students from the Aberfeldy and Kenmore area (PH15 postcode) who are planning to enrol on a course at Perth College UHI.
This year we are delighted to offer 6 scholarships worth £1000 each. This can be used to help support students throughout their studies and there is no requirement to pay back the gift.
The deadline for the scholarships is 26th July and one award will be made before the students commence their course. The remainder of the awards will be made in November. Follow the links for further information or to apply for this award.
Elizabeth Leighton, Heartland Community Wind director said
“We are delighted to continue this scholarship fund for a second year for the benefit of young people in the Aberfeldy and Kenmore area. The fund is based on the proceeds of generating green energy, helping to reduce our carbon emissions and tackle climate change.”
Dr. Margaret Cook, Principal and Chief Executive at Perth College UHI, added:
“The Perth College UHI Scholarship scheme is made possible by our valued partnerships with local businesses and initiatives, such as Heartland Community Wind, who provide our students with invaluable financial support to aid their studies. This combined with the qualifications gained at Perth College UHI, puts them in an excellent position to go on to have a successful career. We are extremely grateful to Heartland Community Wind for their support.”
